Something a little different to start the month. Hymek D7093 at the Frimley Lodge miniature railway. And a trip to Oxford. Addlestone moor & Clan Line.

A stunning looking Hymek D7093 is seen on the traverser at the Frimley Lodge miniature railway Sunday 03 March. This was the first running day of the year & the Hymek was having problems & would not take part. A great shame as I have fond memories of the Triang big big train Hymek I had as a child many years ago!!
DCR 56303 is seen at full power at Oxford on 6Z91 Calvert-Didcot fly ash empties 19 March. It is hard to believe that this picture was taken at 12:20. It is the middle of March & the weather in the UK is still so poor.
Freightliner 70019 has charge of 4O49 Basford Hall-Southampton mt, & is seen at Oxford 19 March.
WCRC 33207 is seen at a very gloomy Basingstoke, with 5Z50 Eastleigh-Derby Rc with three former Anglia DBSO going for refurbishment 21 March. Nice to see some classic Southern traction again.
Network rail 31465 has charge of 3Z04 Hither Green-Eastleigh Ultrasonic test train, seen here at Addlestone moor 22 March.
Network rail 57305 & GBRF 73141+73212 are seen at Addlestone moor, on 0Y68 light engine move Tonbridge-Eastleigh 22 March. Note the large Yellow cover over the emergency coupler unit on the 57.
Merchant Navy class 35028 Clan Line accelerates past Trumps Mill lane foot crossing 22 March, working the VSOE Luncheon Excursion heading back to London Victoria. Even on a cold & dull day she still looked stunning. I take my hat off to the volunteers who graft to keep her in tip top condition.
SWT 159006 has charge of 1L28 from Gillingham Dorset heading for London Waterloo 31 March 2013, & is seen at Deepcut. I had gone to photograph the FGW Hsts on divert but the sun did not play ball. Good job you could not hear what I said at the time!!.
